What are the most effective weight loss and dieting tips and tricks, you might wonder?
Well, two very important ones involves: exercising more or eating less!
Many people who want to lose weight wonder if it keeps to just eating less food in order to succeed.
Others believe that it’s enough to just train more. A new study now shows that it is not easy to say what is most effective. The conclusion in the report seems to emphasize that a calorie is doing more harm to the body than first anticipated. An important factor that refers to is that if the energy deficit is the same, the body growth and fat contents decrease to the same extent.
The survey report is based on that consisted of a test group of 24 persons of which 12 of these went on a diet for 6 months. The rest of the participants was also on the same diet, but must also work out 5 times a week. Of those who only went on a diet food intake was reduced by 25 percent. The other group had to reduce their calorie intake by 12 percent and increase your physical activity accordingly. In both groups the results were about the same, ie 0 percent down in weight and fat percentage went down 24 percent.
The distribution of body fat remained similar in both groups. This shows that it is not possible to determine where on the body one kilo would disappear. Increased muscle mass does not necessarily provide increased metabolism, which in turn leads to increased weight loss. The report finally concludes that a reasonable relationship between diet and physical activity are the best combination, and the method that will lead to best results.
